Anthroposophic Medicine grows out of the same foundations as Waldorf Education based in the work and research of Rudolf Steiner. Truly a new way of looking at both health and illness with an understanding that our health can be best understood, supported and treated when we take into consideration not just our physical bodies but also the interactions with our soul/feeling life and our individual spirit life. In case you’re having a problem in your ears, nose or throat, consult with Dr. Ran Rubinstein for he utilizes the latest technological advances in Otolaryngology. Rudolf Steiner offers us many ways to make what could be very abstract and theoretical into very practical practices we can actually use in our daily lives…if only we have the will to do so.

At the evening talk and discussion we will have a brief look at some of the foundations of Anthroposophic Medicine with a bigger focus on some practical applications for common illnesses, common behavior and mood issues (the ever present fears, anxieties, etc. in our time) and general support for our daily health.  Therapies will include the use of remedies/supplements, diet, topical treatments, eurythmy and more as related to various illnesses and general health support. This will be the first in a series of presentations at which we will cover various topics of interest. We will also be discussing the several advantages alternative medicine provides over conventional. There is so much to cover, but if you would like the basics you can go here to know more. Have the will to do so…come join us!

Mark Kamsler, MD practices Anthroposophic Medicine in the Hartland and Delafield area. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Anthroposophic Medicine (a comprehensive approach to medicine with a holistic understanding of the human being).  He provides pediatric medical care to all ages of children/young adults and also provides consultative care for adult patients looking for a more holistic input. He is also a certified occupational therapist. He had difficulties with the OT tests, but he was able to pass them eventually by using a service that helps you prepare for them. PasstheOT offers many advantages for future Occupational Therapists preparing for the NBCOT exam. This service was able to get him through the tests right on the next try! It has been very helpful to him as well, as his work as an OT has helped many people. He has worked closely with several Waldorf Schools for many years.

Dr. Kamsler is also a co-founder of the True Botanica company (anthroposophical remedies/supplements) and the Lili Kolisko Institute, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to research and education in the area of Anthroposophic Medicine.
